WHAT IS LITERACY FOR LIFE?

Literacy for Life is an academic intervention program designed for struggling readers and individuals who have a diagnosis of a Learning Disability that affects word reading and spelling (which is sometimes referred to as Dyslexia). ELIGIBILITY: Most students are required to have a psychological assessment with a report identifying a Learning Disability or other documented weakness in reading and spelling with processing deficits. In some cases, a previous Speech and Language Assessment which includes measures of reading and phonological processing may also be considered.
