Terence Dayot, Psychotherapist

Terence is a Registered Psychotherapist under the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). He has earned his Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Terence provides psychotherapy to teens and adults with various mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression, Adjustment Disorder, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

 

Terence takes a person-centred approach in helping his clients. He endeavours to create a therapeutic environment where you may feel comfortable to share your challenges. He works collaboratively with you with the goals of fostering hope and creating meaningful changes in your life. Terence utilizes various tools from various therapies including Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for Trauma, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

 

Terence hopes that when you participate in counselling with him that you will be able to gain new insight into your needs and values, build skills and knowledge to manage your struggles, as well as bring about new meaningful changes. Furthermore, he believes in working hard while being a part of your team as you work towards flourishing in life.
