Debbie O’Hare is an Ontario certified teacher with 30 years in education. Her experience includes being a teacher in primary and junior classrooms and for the last decade, as a Special Education teacher working with students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. She is dedicated to helping struggling students learn to read and write, improve overall academically and most importantly believe in themselves. Debbie is an advocate of the Science of Reading (SOR and believes that all students can learn to read and write and through explicit teaching can reach their potential. Her teaching is engaging and individualized to each student’s interests and needs. An important part of student improvement is the involvement of family in the education plan and Debbie makes families feel comfortable and part of the process.
