ADHD Coaching
ADHD Coaching sessions may focus on:
- Identifying personal strengths, increasing self-awareness, and understanding how one’s learning differences can enhance or inhibit progress
- Psychoeducation around how the brain works and how executive functioning difficulties may be impacting academic, vocational, emotional and/or interpersonal life experiences
- Identifying personal goals, and creating a plan to achieve them using research-informed strategies
- Practicing self-compassion to allow for positive changes and long-term resilience
- Providing encouragement, feedback and practical suggestions to address specific challenges
- Suggesting time-management strategies for managing distractions
- Developing a set of skills that will serve an individual throughout their career and in life
- In-person or virtual sessions are available to strategize and implement practical solutions applicable to the home or workplace
ADHD coaching services:
ADHD Coaching is a psychotherapy service. As such, this program may be eligible for reimbursement by private insurance/group benefit plans.
