ADHD coaching services:
Student ADHD coaching techniques are designed for students who struggle socially, emotionally and/or academically. Coaching is student-driven, based on each individual's unique needs. An ADHD coach helps students draw upon their own learning differences to create systems that will work for them. ADHD coaching can increase self-awareness, improve learning experiences, and focus on the development of a set of skills that will serve an individual throughout their career and in life.
Children with ADHD and executive functioning issues can be challenging to raise. They often find it difficult to regulate their emotions, may struggle with impulsivity, and have trouble following directions and rules. ADHD coaching for parents provides families with encouragement, practical suggestions, strategies, and support in applying change management systems. Together, this can help the family to become more balanced and functional and for parenting strategies to be more effective.
For adults who live with ADHD, life and work can be daunting. Adult ADHD coaching focuses on dispelling myths, developing a greater self-awareness, and working collaboratively to craft goals and utilize strategies to target unique executive function challenges. Adult ADHD coaching can help you get started on tasks, persevere when overwhelmed, and get things done. The goal is to increase confidence in knowing you can handle life’s obstacles and responsibilities, no matter how big or small.
ADHD Coaching is a psychotherapy service. As such, this program may be eligible for reimbursement by private insurance/group benefit plans.
