Reading Remediation Program
WHAT IS LITERACY FOR LIFE?
Literacy for Life is an academic intervention program designed for struggling readers and individuals who have a diagnosis of a Learning Disability that affects word reading and spelling (which is sometimes referred to as Dyslexia). The core program employs a structured literacy approach consistent with the science of reading. For more information about our virtual and/or in-person program, click the link above.
ELIGIBILITY: Most students are required to have a psychological assessment with a report identifying a Learning Disability or other documented weakness in reading and spelling with processing deficits. In some cases, a previous Speech and Language Assessment which includes measures of reading and phonological processing may also be considered.
