Laura Caird, Psychologist – Clinical, Counselling & School Psychology
Laura Caird is a Registered Psychologist specializing in Clinical, Counselling, and School Psychology. With extensive experience in school board and private practice settings, Laura provides psychological assessment and consultation services to children, adolescents, and adults.
Laura earned her master’s degree in Brain, Behaviour, and Cognitive Science from York University, where she conducted and published research in the field of memory and learning. Throughout her career, she has developed a strong aptitude for assessing cognitive, emotional, and behavioural factors in individuals across a wide range of backgrounds. Her approach emphasizes integrating data from multiple sources to deliver clear, practical recommendations that support personal growth and success.
Laura's clinical work spans a wide range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, learning and intellectual disabilities, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. She also specializes in trauma-related occupational stress and conducts pre-employment psychological evaluations for law enforcement and other high-pressure public safety roles, assessing psychological readiness and resilience.
Laura’s background as an Ontario Certified Teacher enriches her understanding of educational and developmental challenges, allowing her to support individuals navigating complex, performance-driven environments with insight and care.
