Rachel Prout, Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Rachel is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She has experience working with children, teens, and adults in both mental health and therapeutic recreation settings, using a range of evidence based interventions. Rachel is committed to creating a safe and inclusive space that supports individuals in building on their strengths and developing coping skills to navigate life’s challenges.
Rachel also has experience supporting individuals with attention and executive functioning difficulties through ADHD coaching, and has training and experience with neurofeedback as a supportive approach for attention, emotional regulation, and overall brain functioning.
Rachel believes that each person has the capacity to learn and grow. Using a person centered approach, she works collaboratively with clients to help them identify their strengths, build practical strategies, and move toward their personal goals.
Her goal is to walk alongside you through the process of change and growth. Rachel recognizes that taking the first step can be difficult, no matter how big or small, and she is ready to meet you where you are with a trauma informed and empathetic approach.
