Shannon Clarke, Registered Psychotherapist

Shannon is a dedicated Registered Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting children, youth, and their families. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of community and clinical settings and is passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces where individuals feel understood and supported.

Clinically, Shannon takes a humanistic approach to psychotherapy and believes that everyone deserves to have their voice heard, valued, and respected. Using a compassionate and non judgmental style, she works collaboratively with clients to identify meaningful goals and address the challenges that bring them to therapy. Through both professional and lived experiences, Shannon understands the importance of community while also encouraging individuals to develop confidence in their own autonomy.

Shannon’s experience includes supporting individuals facing life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, interpersonal relationship difficulties, self esteem concerns, trauma, anxiety, and depression. She also has experience providing ADHD coaching and supporting individuals with attention and executive functioning challenges. In addition, Shannon has training and experience with neurofeedback, a non invasive approach that can help support attention, regulation, and overall brain functioning.

Shannon hopes that when you join counselling with her, you will gain a deeper understanding of your needs, develop practical strategies and skills, and discover new ways to create balance and support your overall mental wellness.
